This piece explores the death of community in America. Grandpa’s lawn chair sits empty, overgrown with artificial flowers and illuminated by UV light. Garden hoses replace organic stems instead of being used by neighborhood children.

This piece represents everyone I can’t help. It’s based on a baby bird I found on the street. I wasn’t able to help the bird, and it died.

The inspiration for this piece are the faux antique milk bottles distributed by the company Country Style (Est. 1890).
